Research and present the typographic elements of Apple and their phones, keyboards, screens, etc over their 40+ year history. Secondarily, the findings were to be compiled and displayed in a printed book.
The creation of the Apple Type book began by researching and compiling a list of definitive products the company had released throughout their history. Following that, vector artwork was created to display the products, alongside descriptions and explanations of where the typeface originally appeared. Lastly, the completed spreads were sent to the printer to be printed and bound together in the finished book.
Finished spreads and cover were built using Adobe inDesign, the artwork created in Illustrator. Printing for the book was handled by Blurb online publishing.
This was created as a conceptual, educational project and has no affiliation with Apple.
